Spill Response Call List

If you spill or see a spill please take the following actions immediately.

1. If the spill poses a threat to life or safety get to safety and immediately call 911.
2. Stop the source by turning off valves, plug leaks, upright containers, etc.
3. Contain the spill by using absorbents, booms, or mats to stop the material from reaching water, spill, soil, or storm drains.
4. DO NOT HOSE DOWN THE SPILL! 
5. Document the location, material spilled, quantity, and source. Take photos if possible.
6. Notify the following authorities;

   4. The Port of Anacortes:
