State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA)

The State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) is an environmental review process that identifies and evaluates potential environmental impacts of proposed projects. This process includes the possible development of mitigation actions necessary to reduce adverse environmental impacts as a result of the project.

UPDATE: The Port of Anacortes will publish a SEPA Checklist and MDNS for the T Dock Reconfiguration Project on 4/14/2023. The SEPA checklist and Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance linked below will be available to comment on for 30 days (by COB 5/15/2023).
