Summer Concerts at Seafarers’ Memorial Park

The Port of Anacortes Free Summer Concert Series has arrived! Join us for this family-friendly annual tradition at Seafarers’ Memorial Park. Bands perform from 6–8 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays during July and on Fridays during the month of August.

We are thrilled to bring you a fantastic lineup of bands! 

July 7: Chris Eger Band and the Powerhouse Horns
A bonafide “quadruple threat,” Eger is a multi-instrumentalist, accomplished songwriter, kick-butt showman, as well as sensational vocalist for which he has been awarded Best Male Vocalist 2018 by the Washington Blues Society. Chris is backed by bassist and father Randall Eger, drummer Mark Clark, and keyboardist Chance White. Also featured are the acclaimed Powerhouse Horns from Seattle, who bring a tight, funky punch to the band’s already impressive sound.

July 12: Herding Kats
Formed in 2018, Herding Kats is a high energy 9-piece jazz band playing West Coast, Post Bop, Funk, as well as contemporary jazz arrangements and blues. Music by Dave Pell, Horace Silver, Bill Evans, Harry Warren, Benny Golson, Bill Holman, and Chuck Israels, among others, is performed by this talented group of local musicians. Join the Kats for a memorable evening of great, entertaining jazz!    

July 14: Free Rain
Free Rain specializes in recognizable dance songs from the ’60’s to the 2000’s. Tailoring song lists to any event, they perform at wedding receptions, private parties, corporate events, outdoor concerts, and more. Free Rain is committed to making events memorable and fun for everyone!

July 19: Cascadia Groove
Cascadia Groove, based out of the Skagit Valley, is a group of experienced, talented musicians playing a mix of original funky, danceable jazz tunes, along with unique versions of memorable covers from Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and many others. Their talented musicians come together to provide a performance that is upbeat, diverse, and brings smiles to their fans’ faces and movement to their feet.  

July 21: The Davanos
The Davanos were co-founded in 2003 by the incredibly talented duo of guitarist Jerry Battista and drummer Fred Holzman, while Bassist Greg Youtsey completes the trifecta perfectly. The Davanos play a fantastic combination of classic rock, blues, country western along with some of their own originals. Voted Seattle’s Best Rock Band in 2018 by the Seattle Weekly, The Davanos are one of the most talented and entertaining bands on the Seattle live music scene today. 

July 26: Ranger and the “Re-Arrangers”
Ranger and the “Re-Arrangers” evoke the spirit of a Paris Cafe and the raucous energy of a Romani campsite with their version of Hot Club Swing. At the heart of their sound is Ranger’s sweet violin playing–his sense of melody and daring improvisations. The band’s repertoire includes swing standards, traditional European melodies, and the music of Django Reinhardt. 

July 28: Point of Sail
Point of Sail is a seven-piece yacht rock band from Seattle, WA. Founded by lead vocalist Brian Garrison in 2021, the band highlights stellar vocals backed by high caliber musicians. Point of Sail’s set list offers the soulful vocals and harmonies of yacht-y R&B grooves, guitar-driven rockers with blistering solos, classic FM radio ballads, deep cuts and all-acoustic songs. We guarantee you will not hear these songs done better unless you’re dropping the needle on the vinyl where it was born! 

 August 11: Dusty 45’s
The Dusty 45s have inspired and fired up crowds for over two decades to the delight of fans and critics alike. With their signature style and unique sound, the band is a consistently powerful and energetic player in the Americana field. 

August 18: Victims of Love
Victims of Love – A Tribute to the Eagles, is composed of five Seattle-area music veterans who formed a project to give anyone within earshot the opportunity to hear the Eagles songs they love played live. They are dedicated to the perfect recreation of the Eagles 5-part harmonies and intrinsic instrumentation and guitar work from the Eagles best-selling albums. Come out and catch a Victims of Love show to enjoy all your favorite Eagles songs performed live!

August 25: Eden
Eden is a rock/blues/pop band from the Pacific Northwest, fronted by the powerhouse vocals of Savanna Woods, a recent Top 20 artist on NBC’s The Voice. Her unique voice is paired with these incredibly talented musicians to create an impactful and energetic sound: Aaron Hiebert on electric guitar, Jason Edwards on drums, and Ethan Gibbons on bass. They play a dynamic range of original music, paired with covers from the 60’s through today—guaranteed to get you grooving!
