Frequently Asked Questions

Guest Moorage

Do you accept reservations for moorage?

Yes, you can make reservations up to one year in advance for guest moorage. Reservations are highly recommended during our busy summer season from May through September to ensure we can accommodate you. Reservations can be made on the phone, in person, or through our website. A $5 non-refundable advance reservation fee is required to secure your dates, and your credit card will be stored on file for no-show and cancellation purposes.

We have a flexible 24hr cancellation policy, otherwise subject to one night of moorage. Please let the harbor office know by phone or email if you cannot make your reservation, or we are happy to modify it as needed with at least 24hrs notice. If you do not cancel 24hrs ahead, or fail to show up for your reservation, we will automatically run one night of moorage to the credit card on file per our cancellation policy. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to having you stay at our marina!

How long can I stay on guest moorage?

As a guest you can stay as long as you would like on transient moorage, depending on availability, however the state of Washington requires we impose a 12.84% leasehold tax on the entire stay if you are here past 29 days. Should you choose to depart the marina for 24hrs, your next reservation resets this. If you decide to break up a longer reservation or depart early, you must inform the harbor office no later than the morning you are going to leave so we can update your reservation. Failure to do so will result in us still charging you for the scheduled nights of moorage. Contact the harbor office for any further questions.

How do I connect to your WiFi?

We offer complimentary WiFi at our marina for guests and tenants. There are two networks to choose from:  “Cap Sante Marina” or “Cap Sante Marina 5G” and one may work better depending on your device. There is no password required to connect.

Can I purchase propane at the marina?

Yes, propane is available for purchase at our boat launch. See our marina map so you know how to get there.

How do I get a slip assignment if I arrive outside of harbor office hours?

If you arrive outside of office hours, call the after-hours security number for a slip assignment: 360.661.5000. Security will get you a slip assignment and then you can call or stop in the harbor office the next morning to get checked in and pay for your stay.

Where can I park my car and is there a fee?

There is vehicle parking located throughout the marina including behind the harbor office and in the north end. Look for the signs that clearly identify time restraints on certain spots and park accordingly. Parking is complementary and you don’t have to check in or get a tag for your car. RVs and campervans are not allowed in overnight parking and must check in and pay for an RV spot.

Permanent Moorage

If I buy a boat at the marina, is the slip transferrable?

No, slips do not transfer with the sale of a vessel, and our marina has waitlists for most size slips. If you have purchased a vessel from a tenant in the marina and they are vacating their slip, you can have up to a few weeks of guest moorage or 30 days of moorage before having to depart the marina. Please contact the harbor office by phone or in person as soon as you can to set up what you need. We can be reached 7 days per week at: 360.293.0694.

How much notice is required to vacate my slip?

We require same day notice to vacate your slip and don’t take advanced notice. If you are vacating your slip you must inform us by phone, email, or in person at the harbor office the day you want to vacate your slip. If you are on monthly moorage we will pro-rate you out of your slip and prepare your final payment or refund for anything beyond the first 30 days. We collect the first 30 days of moorage at time of signing your moorage agreement and it is non-refundable. If you are on annual moorage and choose to vacate before the year is up, you will be reverted to monthly moorage and responsible for the difference between the annual rate and monthly rate from the time you started your annual contract.

How do I pay my bill?

You can pay your bill in person at the harbor office or by phone during business hours. Account charges are always posted on the first day of the month and due by the last day of the month to avoid any late fees. We also have auto-pay options that are easy to sign up for and anyone in the harbor office can assist you in setting this up.

Does the marina allow overhang in permanent slips?

No, overhang is not allowed in our marina and our zero-overhang policy is strictly enforced.
