Contaminant removal is commencing and substantive remediation is underway per the Port’s Agreed Order with Ecology. The Port is holding a media event to increase public awareness of this important project and will be subsequently releasing a digital “groundbreaking and project overview” video to the media and public.

The Port is committed to environmental stewardship and has completed over $60 Million in clean ups to-date, with significant projects underway and on the horizon. The Quiet Cove Interim Action Cleanup is expected to cost $2.9 Million.
