Port amenities serve community, support quality of life

There’s a lot to know about your Port! The Port of Anacortes is a maritime and industrial hub, an advocate for local businesses, and a partner for our community. We are proud to provide public amenities and assets that give back to our community. Our investment in and care for these public spaces is part of our strategic plan and our mission to support economic vitality and quality of life in Anacortes and Skagit County.

Cap Sante Marina
Located in Fidalgo Bay near Cap Sante Head, our beautiful and spacious marina features 1,000 slips and hosts more than 17,000 boater nights each year. Guests and locals visiting the marina can enjoy the Port’s Waterfront Esplanade, walking trails, restaurants, a dog park, and arts, culture, and maritime heritage centers—all within walking distance to additional businesses and services in downtown Anacortes.

Marina RV Park
Next door to Cap Sante Marina is our RV park, which is booked on a first come, first served basis. The Port provides restroom, laundry, and shower facilities on site. We host campers year-round who come to boat, crab, fish, visit local festivals, and simply enjoy all Anacortes has to offer.

Seafarers’ Memorial Park
Seafarers’ Memorial Park is adjacent to the marina and RV park. The park features a beautiful view of Fidalgo Bay, a 1976 memorial to our community’s seafarers, picnic tables, walkway, and beach access. The Port also rents out a facility at the park that’s ideal for classes, corporate conferences, and community and private events.

Transit Shed

The Port is continuing to rent the Transit Shed, a 16,800-square-foot former warehouse for public and private events until December 31, 2023. Starting Jan. 1, 2024, the Transit Shed will be restored to its original maritime industrial use. We plan to market the space to local businesses to continue providing public benefit at the Transit Shed in the form of local jobs and economic activity. Our facility at Seafarers’ Memorial Park will continue to be open to public and private events.
