Prilled Sulfur Information - Presentation by Jay Willenberg, PE CH2M HILL
Mr. Willenberg is a consultant with the highly respected firm of CH2M HILL, a global provider of engineering, construction, and operations services for corporations, nonprofits, and federal, state, and local governments. Mr. Willenberg attended the Port Commission regular meeting of August 6, 2010 and provided the Commission, staff and members of the public with information regarding air quality as relates to the proposed shipment of prilled sulfur at the Port's Pier 2 facility. Vessel Auction and Surplus Sale
The Port of Anacortes will hold a vessel auction on Saturday, August 28th at 1:00 p.m at the Cap Sante Boat Haven. The Port will auction a 34' Catalina Sailboat. Legal notices regarding the auciton were placed in local newspapers. The vessel can be seen by inquiring at the Harbormaster's office, 1019 "Q" Avenue, Anacortes.
The Port will also auction surplus items from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday the 28th. Purchase will be by silent bid with winning bidders notified. The surplus auction will be at the Cap Sante Boat Haven. 1019 "Q" Avenue, Anacortes. To view the entire announcement and a list of surplused items, click here.
